Autoimmune disorders are caused by an immune response against the bodies own tissues.

The immune system protects the body from potential harmful substances such as micro-organisms, cancer cells and tissue or blood from another human or species.

These antigens are destroyed by antibodies and lymphocytes.

An Autoimmune disorder can occur due to an inappropriate, lacking or excessive immune response, where the bodies own tissues are attacked. Normally the immune system can determine between self and non-self but an autoimmune disorder can occur where the lymphocytes cannot distinguish between the two and will attack own body tissue.

The reason behind this is not known but it could be due to drugs, or micro-organisms that trigger changes in the immune response.
Some people may also have a genetic predisposition to an autoimmune disorder.

Autoimmune disorders can cause the destruction of one or more types of tissue, organ enlargement or altered organ function. Organs and tissues commonly affected by autoimmune disorders are red blood cells, blood vessels, connective tissues, thyroid gland, pancreas, muscles, joints , skin and the myelin protein sheath.

Klamasin is re-myelinating so nerves that have been scarred by MS can be healed, therefore helping sufferers of MS and other autoimmune disorders.

The Klamasin has a positive effect on the central and peripheral nervous systems so is useful for disorders of the nervous system and can help to ease symptoms of autoimmune disorders.
